deviantart prints

Sun Aug 27, 2006, 2:58 PM
I have decided to expand my offerings on deviantart prints.

What do you folks want?

Selling art!

Mon Jun 26, 2006, 10:59 AM
I have several ebay auctions up for original art, cheap!

If anyone's interested in some of the other stuff in my gallery, the original may be available for sale.

LEPrecon 2006 recap

Tue May 9, 2006, 8:44 AM
Sold the two engraved knives, and a pair of hairsticks.

Not bad.

Also received some very useful critique during the artshow walk-through.

Have learned how to paint windows.

Will be revising my main portfolio (not this one) to better display my work.

new art stuff

Fri Apr 28, 2006, 8:16 PM
I'm working on several new pieces.

I finished the leafy mask awhile back. Just need to photograph the completed piece.

I should get up new stuff this week.

Next weekend is Leprecon. I got two panels and half a table in the artshow.

Do I expect to sell anything?

No.

I *am* putting up less work in general, and will be going under the "professional" category rather than amateur, so that I can get the harsh critique in the walk-through.

I'll be doing jewelry, masks, some of my inks, and possibly textile arts. Also, will be engraving original art on knives, and shadow-boxing them. And I have some other ideas, too. Busy weekend ahead.

Galactic Conquest II

Mon Dec 26, 2005, 3:48 PM
I've sent artwork to the Galactic Conquest II artshow. ([link]) The con is happening next weekend in Lawrenceville, GA, and only costs $5 to attend. Of course, I won't be attending in person (I live elsewhere), but I'm hoping that one or two of the originals I send sell.

Also, do not shop at the Postal Annex. They charged me for $30 of unneccesary packing materials (had I known I wouldn't have agreed to allow them package the art), and then wanted to charge me $35 to ship the art. I took it to the post office the next day, repackaged in a smaller box, and shipped for under $20. Most expensive box and bubblewrap, ever (plus half the box they filled with styrofoam popcorn, which I never use). Arrgh.

Anyhoo, three small dragon pen and inks (a matched set), each with a starting bid of $15, Mermaid 2, Molpadia, Tattoed Fairy, and Full Circle will be available. Each are framed.

One of my goals for the upcoming year will be to send stuff to more conventions. At least one every two months or so.
